Why Does God Forgive?

LORD, if You considered sins,
Lord, who could stand?
But with You there is forgiveness,
so that You may be revered.
Main idea: The unapproachable, sinless God has forgiven fallen, sinful man so we can worship Him. Worship is the purpose for and the result of our forgiveness.
